It is not Mandatory to have a travel Insurance.

This will play a big role to caution you on some unforeseen travel challenges such as last-minute sickness, bad weather normally affecting international flights, Airlines strikes, Flights cancellations just to mention a few.
On our Part as Dawn Expeditions, we thrive in great customer service as we don’t cancel any safari locally unless it’s likely to pose extreme dangers and life risks.

Yes, you do.
To have the best experience in the region, its would be wise to travel with a local Tour Operator who is very familiar with all the travel logistics in the region.
A well connected and experienced operator will come in handy to assist in all the planning and local payments required in the region.
You also have the advantage of venturing in the least known/popular paths as you explore the region to the fullest.
At Dawn Expeditions, we are a reliable, tested, and trusted Tour Operator keen to take you to destinations where few will be surprised that they even exist.
What of the Tsetse flies?
The tsetse flies are more common in Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The elevation supports the breeding of the tsetse flies which ultimately causes trypanosomiasis (sleeping sickness).
We recommend traveling with some bugs repellents that will repeal them temporarily whilst on the safari.
Which clothes do I need to pack?
Safari wear to East Africa generally includes “dull” colors.
This means that we recommend beige and dark green clothing’s which will not contrast with the environment.
The idea is to avoid “shouting colors”. One may pack a few bright attires to be worn for dinner (Only if you wish to)
Any set dress codes?
Fine dining can only be done in the city hotels.
When you begin travelling in the bush, there is no dress code for any meals. We only recommend, comfortable wear.
